Tugs and barges, set of fleet in existence today, are used primarily for the loading of coal. ince 2010 TCP has renewed and extended its contract and service period for the next 8 years, TCP will be serving one of the largest coal company in Indonesia with minimum estimated 6 million tons per annum of volume transshipment.

Currently, TCP is in the finalization stage in engaging with one of the largest coal company in Indonesia for Self Discharging Barge contract at North Pulau Laut Coal Terminal (NPLCT). NPLCT is situated on an island & exclusively uses Self Discharging Barges to receive coal at the port. Processed coal is stacked into stockpiles before being loaded directly onto barges.
